The Department of Economic Development has clarified how spouses get work permits.
In Tynwald last week the DED minister was asked by Speaker Juan Watterson what the department does to publicise the fact they can get full work permits if their partner has one.
It's after feedback some people were confused about whether they were entitled to one and how to apply.
Laurence Skelly said work has been done to make it common knowledge, and all the information is on the DED's website:
