The Education and Children Minister claims "great strides" have been made in terms of pre-school provision on the Isle of Man.
Graham Cregeen gave evidence to a Social Affairs Policy Review Committee last week:
The Programme for Government claims the department will improve standards, and availability, of pre-school education in the next five years.
However Mr Cregeen admitted the ongoing work doesn't take in nursery provision for younger children:
