Prescription costs look set to rise as Health Minister David Ashford asks Tynwald to approve new prices.
When the court sits this month, he'll ask members to back a hike from £3.85 to £5, with increases for pre-paid prescriptions.
The National Health and Care Service Scheme 2018 also proposes price hikes for dentistry - checkups would go up from £18.50 to £20.60.
Mr Ashford's rises are the same as those put forward by former minister Kate Beecroft, which saw huge public opposition on social media.
