The Island's minimum wage looks set to rise, as Tynwald discusses the issue next week.
During the court's June sitting, members will be asked to consider a report from the minimum wage committee.
The committee has recommended at 40p an hour rise for those aged 18 and over - going from £7.85 to £8.25 an hour.
Tynwald sits in Douglas from next Tuesday.
