Michael Commissioners have rejected plans for 20mph zones.
On Facebook, the board says it's unanimously voted to oppose the change to 20mph and has passed on its views to the Department of Infrastructure.
It says it's asked that Main Road in Kirk Michael keeps its 30mph speed limit.
And it says it's supported extending that 30 zone to include Rhencullen.
