TT champion Michael Dunlop took victory in last night's first Southern 100 race.
He raced to the top spot in the 600/1000cc race with Dean Harrison coming in second and Guy Martin taking third.
Dunlop recorded an average speed of 111 miles per hour during the eight lap race around the Billown Circuit.
The second race of the evening - the sidecars - was cut short after being red flagged after four laps when two sidecar outfits collided.
Tim Reeves and Dan Sayle were crowned victors however, with Birchall brothers Ben and Tom taking second and Gary Bryan and Jamie Winn coming in third.
