Should people who drive electric cars be allowed to pay less road tax?
That's the question which will be asked in the House of Keys next week - North Douglas MHK David Ashford wants answers from the Infrastructure Minister.
Mr Ashford says in some cases people have bought environmentally friendly vehicles only to end up paying more tax under the current system.
He says he'd back a tax cut for those using "alternative fuels":
