An MHK is hoping that the public's reaction to the new so called 'toilet tax' will be acknowledged in Tynwald this month.
Chris Thomas has tabled a motion for the online survey opposing the charge - which has almost 6,000 signatures - to be included on the official minutes.
The Water and Sewerage Authority wants to bring in the tax in April - if succesful it will mean householders will have to pay £50 a year for having a toilet.
Members will have to vote on its introduction in order for it to be applied.
However the West Douglas MHK says it all seems very rushed:
