Arbory, Malew and Castletown MHK Jason Moorhouse has submitted a question for written reply to Dr Alex Allinson about positions advertised by government.
He wants to know how many of the jobs have been vacant for three, six and 12 months - and why.
Mr Moorhouse will also ask about the salaries they pay.
