MHK wants Masterplan to focus on surrounding Douglas areas

The 'Masterplan' which is set to shape the future of Douglas received almost unanimous support in Tynwald this week.

The ambitious document outlines area plans for regeneration and redevelopment in the town.

The aim is to make Douglas a world class capital; private sector investment will be crucial to its success.

But the plans didn't appeal to everybody, Onchan MHK David Quirk told us why the Douglas Masterplan has not received his backing:
