Onchan MHK Julie Edge is asking for the government to lay out its plans to tackle the Island's population problems.
In the House of Keys this week, she'll raise the issue with Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas.
Mrs Edge will ask him when he will present a white paper on meeting population challenges on the Isle of Man.
It's after a statement from the minister last March about the 2016 census.
