An MHK wants to know how many people have tested negative for Covid through a PCR rest, after being 'positive' on a LFT.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK Jason Moorhouse will ask Health Minister Lawrie Hooper how many people in the last 30 days received a negative result from a PCR test, booked as a consequence of a positive lateral flow test (LFT) result.
Earlier this week - Manx Care said their PCR testing is of the 'highest clinical standards'.
It follows reports of some people testing negative for the virus at the Grandstand - despite having previously tested positive with Lateral Flow Tests.
On Island, the health body says lateral flow tests correctly identify a positive case about 90% of the time, however there are rare occasions when an LFT shows positive and a PCR shows negative.
The Tynwald sitting gets underway on Tuesday morning at 10am.
