Fishing waters around the Isle of Man will be brought up when Tynwald meets next week.
MLC Kate Lord-Brennan will ask Environment, Food & Agriculture Minister, Geoffrey Boot MHK, what plans he has to make sure Manx fishing waters are protected from January 1, 2021.
The question comes as negotiations over a potential trade deal between the UK and the EU continue ahead of the Brexit transition deadline on December 31.
It's currently understood one of the main sticking points between the two sides over any potential deal is fishing.
