MHK to move assisted dying bill in House of Keys

Could the law that governs assisted dying be amended on the Isle of Man?

Rushen MHK Juan Watterson thinks so - he's putting forward a bill in today's sitting of the House of Keys.

The contentious issue was back in the spotlight last week following the outcome of the inquest into the death of 60-year-old Cathy Pridham.

The Peel woman committed suicide in March last year after learning she had aggressive terminal cancer.

Her husband Mike is supportive of the bill and is rallying for its swift introduction:
