An urgent question about the impact of rising energy prices will be asked in the House of Keys this morning.
Jason Moorhouse will ask the Treasury Minister what the Council of Ministers and the Manx Utilities Authority are doing to reduce the impact on customers following recent increases in the wholesale price of gas.
His question will also cover how much this will cost the taxpayer, and what the impact will be on government debt.
Mr Moorhouse explains why he's asking the question:
The House of Keys sitting is set to start at 10am.
Record number of seal pups recorded
Proposed laws could mean free period products
Unemployment fell slightly last month
GP waiting times to be raised in House of Keys tomorrow
Waves higher than predicted on crossing which damaged cars
