A Douglas MHK will ask the government to condemn a country in Asia after it passed new laws sentencing gay people to death.
When the court sits on Tuesday, East Douglas MHK Clare Bettison will ask members to back a motion committing parliament to supporting equal rights for the LGBT community.
She'll also ask Tynwald members to voice their disapproval of Brunei, after the tiny Islamic kingdom said anybody who had gay sex would be stoned to death.
The new law has attracted widespread international criticism.
