The Island's former Health Minister says his sacking has 'broken him'.
It comes following the news earlier today that Rob Callister is stepping down with immediate effect and being replaced by Enterprise Minister - Lawrie Hooper.
In a post on social media, Mr Callister has asked people to accept his 'sincere apologies for any embrasssment this announcement may have caused', adding he feels he didn't get 'fair opportunity' to implement changes witihin the Island's Health Services.
Mr Callister was only in the role for just under two months.
He has also described Manx Politics as 'extremely difficult and unfair at times' although the MHK says 'we fully understand and accept the rules when we stand for election'.
