A local MHK says shopkeepers affected by floods in Ramsey have been left disheartened.
The northern town was one of the most badly affected areas when strong winds and a tidal storm surge hit the Island's shores - the cost of which is still being assessed.
Parliament Street - the main shopping area - took much of the hit and businesses had no choice but to close their doors.
