MHK says DSC Minister is 'dangerous'

A North Douglas MHK has attacked the Social Care Minister; describing him as ‘dangerous’ and saying he should be taken out of office.

John Houghton is angry with Chris Robertshaw over the handling of a new system of child benefit - which will come into operation in April.

Mr Houghton says he’s concerned about the impact on local post offices, as the application process appears to instruct claimants that they must have this benefit paid through a bank account.
