An Onchan MHK is urging the government to investigate whether care homes are breaking the law by paying less than the minimum wage.
On her Facebook page, she says the Department for Enterprise needs to look into all care providers to make sure they're following minimum wage law.
She says she's worried the Island could be creating an illicit labour black market.
And she adds anyone earning less than minimum wage should contact her in confidence.
