Concerns have been raised that people are taking off-road vehicles on the lanes and acting irresponsibly.
Earlier this week in the House of Keys the Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister said he is looking at introducing better controls to try and stamp it out.
This includes the possibility of introducing a new licensing initiative.
