Stamping out the so called ‘mad March spending’ should be a priority for Treasury.
That’s according to Onchan MHK Peter Karran who raised his concerns in Tynwald this week.
Eddie Teare says his department does monitor the departments spending to see how it is spaced out throughout the year.
He says it is an issue that’s been raised before with some spending money unnecessarily just to use up their allocation.
