MHK chastised for wayward HoK questioning

An outspoken MHK's line of questioning landed him in hot water during yesterday's House of Keys sitting.

Onchan MHK Peter Karran was grilling the Treasury Minister on government's plans to fill vacant office space.

The Liberal Vannin member claimed 30 per cent of commercial properties currently lay dormant, not 14 per cent as suggested by Eddie Teare.

It led to Speaker of the House Steve Rodan scolding Mr Karran for his wayward questioning:
