MHK calls for TT film sequel

An MHK is calling for a sequel to TT3D: Closer to the Edge movie and believes more Manx-themed films could be on their way to cinemas.

Laurence Skelly is a member of the Department of Economic Development and has responsibility for the films being made here.

He believes the impact of successful productions that showcase the Island are priceless and wants to see more made in the future.

A year ago government invested significantly in Pinewood Studios which is responsible for the likes of James Bond and Harry Potter.

Mr Skelly says we need to build on previous successes:
