MHK calls for promenade redevelopment business plan

A business case to accompany the Douglas promenade redevelopment is still in the process of being drafted.

Onchan member David Quirk asked whether Infrastructure Minister Phil Gawne has a copy of the business case and what agreement his department has with Douglas Corporation.

If Tynwald approve the £21 million plans - works could start in November.

Minister Gawne says the lack of a concrete business plan should not be a cause for concern:
