MHK calls for improved care in nursing homes

More clarification on the rights of nursing home residents on the Isle of Man is needed:

That's according to Onchan MHK Peter Karran who asked about plans for improved care standards in Tynwald yesterday.

However a debate on the issue soon turned when reference was made to a recent investigation into a care facility in the north of the Island.

It led to the President of Tynwald Clare Christian interjecting saying it couldn't be discussed - Mr Karran reluctantly agreed:
