Garff MHK Daphne Caine says she's hopeful government's catering service can use as much local produce as it can in school meals and hospital food.
In Tynwald next week she'll ask Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot how much homegrown food makes it on to hospital and school menus.
And in a second question she'll ask whether he thinks his department should run the service instead of the Department of Health and Social Care.
