One MHK voted against this year's Budget as he believes it 'doesn't instil confidence throughout.'
Member for Douglas North, John Wannenburgh gave his views in Tynwald earlier this week.
Speaking to the court, Mr Wannenburgh said that 'this budget inflicts an unjust inter-generational debt, on our children and their children, who in turn will look back at this budget as a grave act of self-harm against them.'
He added that as future expenditures are increasing, government needs to prioritise, and 'simply cannot spend all we have.'
Mr Wannenburgh was the only MHK or MLC to vote against the Budget.
