Rushen MHK Juan Watterson says he stands by his allegations the Post Office has bullied sub-postmasters over their contracts.
He made the accusation in Tynwald this week during a question about face-to-face government services.
His remarks were quickly picked up by Treasury Minister Chris Thomas, who asked him to withdrawn them.
However, Mr Watterson said he was happy to defend his words:
