The Licensed Victuallers Association have reported a steady Manx Grand Prix for their member pubs, bars and restaurants - but say the message from the visitors was clear.
In the second year of a drastically revised schedule, they report that the general consensus from those they served was that it doesn't work for them, and they'd much rather see a return to the original format.
Andy Saunders is the owner of Quidds Inn and Chairman of the LVA, he argues the tight race schedule prevented people from doing much else other than spectating.
He says the previous two week layout worked well for all concerned:
