Ronaldsway Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for coastal overtopping and inner harbour flooding.
The warning is in place from 11pm tonight until 3pm tomorrow afternoon.
Coastal overtopping is most likely to affect Shore road, Port St Mary, Castletown promenade, the northern end of Douglas prom and Laxey and Ramsey promenade.
However, forecasters warn areas most likely to be affected by inner harbour flooding include Mezeron corner, the west quay in Ramsey and Hope street in Castletown.
