The Met office has released an amber weather warning as frost and ice are expected later tonight.
The warning will be in place from 4pm today until 12pm tomorrow afternoon.
Although it will remain dry overnight - forecasters say temperatures will plummet, expected to be in the low minuses.
The office says icy conditions are expected to affect all Island roads - causing significant problems for areas that are already wet
