Ronaldsway Met Office has issued an amber weather warning for tomorrow.
The warning, for coastal overtopping, covers high tide just before midday on Wednesday, February 18.
It runs from 10am until 2pm, when strong to gale force winds will combine with a big tide - bringing a risk of significant overtopping around the island.
Douglas Promenade will be particularly susceptible, as well as promenades in Laxey and Ramsey, the western end of Castletown promenade and Shore Road in Rushen.
