A Merseyside man has been remanded in custody as he awaits trial over an alleged plot to smuggle hundreds of thousands of pounds worth heroin and cocaine to the island.
Michael Peter Ball of Old Mill Lane in Formby appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 41 year old denies producing 1.2 kilos of cocaine and almost 2 kilos of heroin to the Island on October 21 and two counts of supplying class A drugs on October 22.
There was no bail application and he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on December 21.
