Rider Steve Mercer is in a critical but stable condition after a collision in qualifying yesterday, TT organisers say.
The 36-year-old was involved in a collision with a course car at Ballacrye last night.
He was transferred to hospital in Liverpool.
ACU Events Ltd. have confirmed an investigation into the incident will take place.
