The Manx Electric Railway will be discussed when the House of Keys returns from its summer recess next week.
Middle MHK Bill Shimmins wants to know what thought has been given to changing the railway to a single-track set up and then using the extra space to create a walking and cycling route between Douglas and Ramsey.
His question for Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer MHK, will be put forward when MHK's reconvene again in Douglas on Tuesday, October 22.
The session will get underway on the day from 10am.
