Police are hunting vandals who’ve harmed an ‘important part of Manx heritage’ by damaging an electricity box.
The door to the box - which powers the Manx Electric Railway sign at Derby Castle – was targeted at some point between Wednesday and Thursday last week.
Officers say damage like this serves no purpose and only puts those responsible in danger of harm as well as causing financial loss to local businesses.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Headquarters.
