Upto 2 Year Prison Sentence and £5000 Fine for Those Caught in Possession of Plant Food
With Mephedrone set to become illegal as of tomorrow the Island’s Police Force have been gearing up for the change.
If you are caught in possession of the substance, or found guilty of importing it you could face a £5000 fine and upto 2 years imprisonment.
MHK Bill Malarkey from the Department of Home Affairs has said now this has been outlawed work will continue on seeking out other legal highs slipping through the net.
He also told 3FM about the work the Police have done to train the sniffer dogs to be able to detect the substance.
