Two men have admitted taking part in an attack near a busy Douglas nightclub.
Jonathan Paul Hynes of Palace Road and Marc O’Meara of Clarence Terrace, both 34 and from Douglas, appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
Both pleaded guilty to affray on January 15 and possessing cannabis on the same date.
Prosecutor Rachael Braidwood told the hearing police spotted both men punching and kicking another man who was lying on the ground on Victoria Street at 2.15am.
O’Meara was arrested at the scene and Hynes was later detained in a nearby alleyway after running off.
Hynes was found to have 0.6 grammes of cannabis worth £12 while O’Meara had 1.1 grammes of the drug worth £22.
The court heard police had later found Snapchat footage of the incident.
Both were bailed in the sum of £500 and will appear again for sentencing on October 4.
