Angry bus users express concerns at public meeting
MHK Brenda Cannell has resigned from the Department of community, culture and leisure over the new bus review.
A picture of her is in the introduction of the thousands of new timetables which were distributed, making her the target of criticism.
The member, with delegated responsibility for public transport, said that she's voiced her concerns about the flaws in timetable and that it has been like banging her head against a brick wall, she agrees with over 100 members of the community who turned out to express their anger at a public meeting on Monday night. MHK Cannell said at a public meeting in Douglas last night that she will campaign for changes to be made, to what she calls an unworkable timetable.
