Garff Commissioners are to host a public meeting about an offshore wind farm planned off the Island's east coast.
The gathering, to discuss the Mooir Vannin proposals, will take place at the Laxey Working Men's Institute on New Road in Laxey from 7pm on Tuesday, August 26.
The local authority says it wants to hear people's views on the scheme before it talks to government and the developer Ørsted.
The meeting will be chaired by the captain of the parish, Captain Stephen Carter.
