A public meeting is being held tonight to discuss the speed of vehicles passing through Kirk Michael.
Residents in the area have claimed the Main Road through the town 'simply isn't safe' and say traffic calming measures are 'badly needed'.
Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer MHK, Ayre & Michael MHK's Alf Cannan and Tim Baker and local commissioners are all expected to be attending.
It gets underway at the Community Civic Centre in the town at 6pm.
