Meeting Granted for DHSS Minister to Discuss Reciprocal Health Agreement
The UK Health Secretary has agreed to have a meeting with local politicians following the outcry over their decision to end the Reciprocal Health Agreement.
DHSS Minister Eddie Teare, along with Chief Minister Tony Brown will meet with Andy Burnham to talk and discuss the finer points of the decision, which is likely to have detrimental affects not just for the Island but also potentially the UK, who have thousands of tourists a year heading to the Island.
It's looking like their work will be cut out for them however after the UK Health Secretary stated in a letter that they are not going to change their views which led to the decision in the first place.
