A mediator will be called on to give evidence in front of a Tynwald committee next week.
The Care and Upbringing of Children committee will hear from the Manx Family Mediation Network next Monday.
It was formed in December to consider a petition for redress of grievance which was handed in on Tynwald Day last year.
It wanted to see a review of the law relating to the care and upbringing of children especially in cases of broken marriage and other relationships.
Evidence will be taken in public in the Legislative Council chamber – members of the public are welcome to attend.
