Measures are being put in place at the Islands meat plant to make sure it can cope with demand.
That's according to Chair of Isle of Man Meats, Tim Baker MHK, as the organisation is joining other industries in taking action and precautions against Coronavirus.
Plant Director, Phil Parsons, says this week the organisation is expected to hit a record for the amount of beef being produced and changes it's making will allow them to increase overall production.
He adds 'it has never been more important for consumers to buy local'.
