The Mayor of Douglas has unveiled a town tribute to a pioneer of Manx sport.
Mayor Jon Joughin presented a memorial blue plaque in memory of sporting icon Murray Lambden before this years Parish Walk last week.
Mr Joughin has called Mr Lambden an 'inspiration' to Manx sporting people and that he 'lead by example' in promoting sport across the Island.
The blue plaque was presented on Loch Promenade, the only other recipients of those on the Island are Archibald Knox and The Bee Gees.
