Restrictions for birthing partners at the Islands Maternity Ward have been lifted.
The update was confirmed by Health and Social Care Minister, David Ashford MHK, during this afternoons government Coronavirus briefing.
However, the Minister states partners will have to stay for the entire birthing period.
They will not be able to move in and out of the ward during that time.
