Chief executive of the health body, Teresa Cope, confirmed mask wearing will still be required in health and social care settings from March 31.
However, people visiting the hospital will no longer need to pre-book an appointment or complete visitor registration forms.
LFT testing before visiting health and social care settings is still encouraged.
