A martial arts club in St Johns has received a generous grant being put towards important new gear.
Manx Lottery Trust have awarded £1,500 to St John's Aikido Club for new training mats that will allow more students to learn and practice safely.
David Halsall, from the club, says they are 'incredibly grateful' for the support they've received.
Meanwhile, the lottery trust's Chairman, Sarah Kelly, they are 'very deserving' of the assistance.
