The chair of Marown Commissioners has declared her intention to stand in this year's general election.
Alison Lynch will stand as an independent candidate in Middle.
She's served on the board for more than 9 years and feels the the 'time is right' to take her local authority experience further.
Also standing in Middle are David Fowler, Jane Poole-Wilson, Keiran Hannifin and Stu Peters.
The General Election will get underway on Thursday, September 23.
